Altough flat paint with its matte finish looks great, it is also the hardest to clean. It is not recommended in childrens bedrooms. Glossy paint is shiny and therefor easier to clean.
Exteriors differ from interior paints as it is recommended you use flat paint with UV protection, which provides better protection from the sun.
